Universal Pictures Greenlights Edgar Wright's THE WORLD'S END
The boys are back. SHAUN OF THE DEAD and HOT FUZZ's Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reteam with director Edgar Wright for the last film in their comedy trilogy. And not a moment too soon. In THE WORLD'S END, five buddies reunite after 20 years to re-do a legendary pub crawl that ends at the fabled pub The World's End. But soon they realize reaching THE WORLD'S END is the least of their worries, let alone their final destination.
Wright is currently in pre-production on the film, which will begin shooting this October in the U.K. Simon Pegg co-wrote the script with Wright. As with the first two movies in the trilogy, Focus Features will distribute The World's End domestically and Universal Pictures will handle international distribution. The official press release is here.
