Mekado Murphy's New York Times' article "Moving Ahead in Stop Motion" looks at the remarkable advancement in the technology deployed by Laika Studio in creating PARANORMAN. Speaking to the history of Laika, and its creative mandate, CEO Travis Knight says, "I wanted us to tell these weird, thought-provoking, thematically challenging, emotionally resonant stories, but I wanted us to do it in a new way."
